Japan's government revised its Offshore Wind auction rules to address delays and rising costs in the sector. Changes include an electricity price adjustment scheme allowing up to 40% of capital cost increases and raising the deposit requirement for project delays from 13,000 to 24,000 yen per kilowatt.
