Jakson Engineers Ltd (JEL) plans to invest Rs 2,000 crore ($240 million) to enhance its Solar manufacturing. The investment will establish a 2.5 GW Solar Cell plant and expand its module facility to 2,000 MW, creating 1,200 jobs. The expansion aims to meet rising Solar Energy demand, support India’s Renewable Energy goals, and reduce Solar import reliance.
