Indore has commissioned a 60 MW Jalud solar plant developed by Rays Power Infra Limited with an investment of ₹271 crore. Built under Ministry of New and Renewable Energy schemes, the project generates over 80 lakh units monthly, reducing municipal energy costs significantly. Supported by green bonds and subsidies, it enhances clean energy use, cuts emissions, and supports urban services like water supply systems efficiently.
