India’s renewable sector is shifting beyond solar modules toward energy storage, integrated manufacturing, and reliable power delivery. The country has installed around 160 GW of solar capacity, adding nearly 45 GW in FY2026, while peak electricity demand has exceeded 270 GW and is projected to reach 388 GW by FY2032.
