NHPC Limited has announced a tender for 1.2 GW of ISTS-connected Solar Power Projects, featuring 600 MW/1200 MWh Energy Storage Systems (ESS). Bidding opens on October 8, 2024, and closes on October 18, 2024. Selected Solar Power Generators will operate under a 25-year Build Own Operate model. This initiative aims to enhance Renewable Energy Generation across India.
