India is set to launch its first domestic coastal green shipping corridor within the next six months, connecting Kandla on the west coast with Thoothukudi (V O Chidambaranar Port) in the south. The initiative aims to decarbonize maritime logistics by integrating green fuels like methanol, with ports along the route producing, storing, and distributing these fuels.
