India's central government is considering exempting electric vehicles (EVs) from the 15-year End of Life (EoL) rule to boost EV demand, especially in buses, cars, and trucks. Discussed in a high-level meeting, the proposal aims to address slow EV adoption—currently 7.6% versus a 30% target by 2030.
