The Centre has shortlisted 18 proposals to develop Electric Vehicle (EV) subsystems in partnership with industry and academia, aiming to reduce import dependence and boost domestic manufacturing. Proposals include wireless chargers, powertrains, and traction motors. Projects must be near-commercial (TRL 7+), co-funded with at least 20% industry cash contribution, and completed within 36 months.
