India is set to invite bids for the 220 MWe Bharat Small Modular Reactor (BSMR-200) within six months, marking a major step in its nuclear energy expansion. Developed by Bhabha Atomic Research Centre and Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited, the ₹5,960 crore project will allow foreign firms with local partners.
