The Uttar Pradesh government has approved a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Green Hydrogen under its 2024 policy, to be jointly operated by IIT Kanpur and HBTU. The CoE will focus on R&D in green hydrogen production, storage, transportation, safety, testing, and industrial applications, providing shared infrastructure and facilities.
