Hy Stor Energy has cancelled its agreement to purchase 1 GW of alkaline electrolyser equipment from Norway’s Nel to support its Mississippi Clean Hydrogen Hub. It was supposed to be the largest off-grid hydrogen production and salt cavern storage hub in the US. Once operational, the hub would use power supplied via on-site wind turbines and solar panels with more than 70,000 tonnes of Hydrogen.
