Huawei and Chery’s EV joint venture, Luxeed, will invest 10 billion yuan ($1.4 billion USD) to enhance product development and manufacturing in China. Less than a year old, Luxeed aims to grow in the competitive EV market by launching new models and strengthening its supply chain. Chery owns 60% of the venture, while Huawei contributes intelligent driving systems and software.
