Cochin Shipyard Ltd (CSL) will build 65 Green Energy-powered ships worth ₹22,000 crores for Indian and international clients, including the Navy. As part of maritime decarbonization, CSL is adopting green technologies like hydrogen and methanol. The shipyard, based in Kochi, is enhancing capacity with new facilities and collaborating with European firms for advanced ship manufacturing.
