The power ministry has scrapped the Uniform Renewable Energy Tariff (URET) mechanism and dissolved the Solar Power Central Pool and Solar-Wind Hybrid Central Pool to address tariff uncertainty. This decision aims to ease solar and other renewable energy deployment and improve price discovery for power sale agreements.
