HPCL has initiated a pilot study to assess vehicles fueled by E27 and ethanol-blended diesel fuel. This study aligns with the 'Roadmap for Ethanol Blending in India by 2025,' which targets achieving 20% E20 by April 2023 and 27% ethanol blending E27 by April 2025. The evaluation will focus on the performance and emissions of E27 fuel and ethanol-diesel blends across different vehicle categories.
