Hitachi Energy announced an investment of ₹2,000 crore to establish a new Large Power Transformer (LPT) manufacturing facility in Karjan, Vadodara, Gujarat. Scheduled for completion in FY28, the plant will support India’s growing transmission infrastructure needs as the country targets over 900 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2035.
