Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL) has issued India’s largest standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) tender under the new Viability Gap Funding (VGF) regime. The 2000 MW/4000 MWh Phase-7 tender offers a lower VGF of ₹18 lakh/MWh and spans 12 years under the Build, Own, Operate (BOO) model.
