Gujarat has unveiled a ₹1.57 lakh crore infrastructure plan aimed at attracting investment in green hydrogen, semiconductors and data centers. The initiative seeks to diversify the state’s industrial base beyond chemicals, pharmaceuticals and petrochemicals toward high-tech manufacturing. A ₹50,000 crore fund has been earmarked to support international manufacturers and domestic companies undertaking capital-intensive projects.
