Allied Green Ammonia and ABB Partner on 3 GW Green Ammonia Project in Australia

Allied Green Ammonia (AGA) has partnered with ABB to develop a large-scale green hydrogen-to-ammonia production facility in Australia's Northern Territory. The project will feature a 4.75 GW solar farm, a 1.6 GWh battery energy storage system, and a 3 GW hydrogen electrolyser capacity. Once operational, it aims to produce 172,500 tonnes of green hydrogen annually, which will be converted into 958,500 tonnes of green ammonia.
