The Goa government is set to establish Renewable Energy Parks encompassing solar, wind, and hybrid projects along with storage solutions. Exploring vertical-axis wind turbines, a 100 MW tender has been floated. The initiative also focuses on skill development and job creation for local youth in collaboration with central government entities like the National Skill Development Council.
