GIGA Storage Belgium is set to build the Green Turtle battery park in Dilsen-Stokkem, designed to be the largest battery energy storage system in continental Europe, with a capacity of 700 MW/2,800 MWh. Strategically located near a high-voltage substation, it will enhance Belgium's energy transition by optimizing renewable energy use.
