Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys (IMFA) has acquired a 26% stake in EG Urja Strot for ₹110.18 crore and signed a 29-year captive power purchase agreement (PPA) to procure 65 MW of hybrid renewable energy for its ferrochrome operations. The project includes 81.4 MW solar, 102.6 MW wind, and a 25 MWh battery energy storage system, with completion targeted by June 2027.
