Geon, the energy storage arm of Kabra Extrusiontechnik Ltd, has commissioned a 2.88 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Khavda, Gujarat, achieving full commercial operations in just five months. The project is one of India’s largest utility-scale storage deployments and was executed with system integration, testing, and commissioning of key components including PCS, transformers, and EMS.
