GAIL (India) Limited has received board approval to establish a 178.2 MW wind energy project in Maharashtra, investing ₹1,736.25 crores through debt and equity. Scheduled for completion within 24 months from the LSTK contract award, the project will more than double GAIL’s existing 117.95 MW wind capacity.
