Indian electric motorcycle maker Ultraviolette Automotive will invest Rs 779 crore ($82 million) to build a new plant in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, expanding capacity amid surging EV demand. The facility will start with 250,000 units annual capacity, expandable to 500,000, complementing its existing 50,000-unit plant near Bengaluru.
