The French Government has prequalified 12 developers for its Ninth Offshore Wind Tender (AO9), covering four sites with up to 2.5 GW Capacity. Notable participants include BayWa re, Iberdrola, and TotalEnergies. Developers will compete for Projects like Bretagne Sud 2 and Oleron 2. Selection will occur in autumn 2025, with commissioning expected between 2032 and 2034.
