Google has signed its first offshore wind power purchase agreement (PPA) in Asia-Pacific with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners for the 495MW Fengmiao I project in Taiwan, set to start in 2027. This supports Taiwan’s goal to expand offshore wind capacity to 15 GW by 2035 and aligns with Google’s 2030 carbon-free energy target.
