France has revised its hydrogen strategy, reducing its 2030 production target from 6.5GW to 4.5GW due to market and technology delays. However, the government remains committed to supporting the sector with a €4bn subsidy package over 15 years. The updated strategy also sets a later 8GW target for 2035 and emphasizes infrastructure, technology, and regulatory development to strengthen future prospects.
