Ford plans to invest £230 million in its Halewood facility to produce Electric power units for future all-Electric passenger and Commercial Vehicles sold in Europe. Production is expected to start in mid-2024, with a capacity of around 250,000 units per year. This investment will safeguard jobs and reinforces Ford’s commitment to Electric Vehicle manufacturing in the UK.
