The Neart na Gaoithe (NnG) Offshore Wind farm, a Joint Venture between EDF Renewables UK and ESB, has generated its first power for the UK’s national grid. Once fully operational, it will feature 54 turbines producing up to 450 MW, powering approximately 375,000 homes and offsetting over 400,000 tonnes of CO2 annually.
