Floating Wind Project (100 MW) advances Energy Transition goals

Flotation Energy and Cobra secured full planning permission for their 100 MW White Cross floating wind farm, located 52 km off North Devon in the Celtic Sea. The project, approved by North Devon Council and the Marine Management Organisation, will feature six to eight turbines. Despite opposition from a petition with over 4,000 signatures, the developers adapted plans to reduce environmental and social impacts.
