The 450MW Neart na Gaoithe (NnG) Offshore Wind farm in Scotland has completed its turbine installation, with the final (54th) turbine installed. Located 15.5km off the Fife coast, the £1.8bn project covers 105 square km. A joint venture between EDF Renewables UK & Ireland and ESB, it will provide electricity for 375,000 homes, reducing carbon emissions by 400,000 tonnes annually.
