Spearmint Energy has secured nearly $450 million financing for its Red Egret 300 MW/600 MWh standalone BESS project in Texas City, Texas. The financing includes a $225 million construction facility, $96 million preferred equity investment from Nuveen Energy Infrastructure Credit, and around $126 million ITC transfer proceeds.
