Brookfield has launched Lumara, a new renewable energy platform that will invest $600 million in India to accelerate solar, wind, and battery energy storage projects. Backed by Brookfield’s Catalytic Transition Fund, the platform aims to overcome key project bottlenecks, including delays in power purchase agreements (PPAs), grid connectivity, and land acquisition.
