Exide Industries plans to start production at its lithium-ion cell facility by FY26-end, with NCM cylindrical cells for two-wheelers first and a prismatic LFP line for stationary storage next. The company has invested ₹3,947 crore in Exide Energy and aims to ramp plant utilization to 80–90% for margins comparable to lead-acid batteries.
