Researchers from the ANEMEL project in Europe have developed a new catalyst for water splitting that efficiently produces green hydrogen without using expensive platinum group metals (PGMs). Instead, they use abundant metals like nickel and molybdenum, which helps reduce costs and improve recyclability.
