The European Commission has approved a €11 billion French State aid scheme to develop three floating offshore wind farms totaling 1.5GW. Backed under the CISAF framework, the 20-year scheme supports EU 2030 climate goals and clean tech independence. Each 500MW project will receive a two-way contract for difference via competitive bidding.
