Koehler Renewable Energy and CMB Energy have launched a joint venture, KB Renewables, to develop and operate wind power projects targeting 1GW capacity by 2030. Established in April, the venture is 80% owned by Koehler and 20% by CMB, with plans to expand into solar and battery storage. KB Renewables will develop and acquire wind farms, maintaining long-term ownership.
