The European Commission will provide €650 M ($768 M) in CEF grants for 14 cross-border energy projects, including six electricity and eight hydrogen initiatives. Funding supports pumped-storage hydro, smart grids, battery integration, and Europe’s first large-scale underground hydrogen storage in Germany.
