The Energy Regulatory Commission of the Philippines approved the 500 kV integration of Alternergy’s 128 MW Tanay Rizal Wind Power Project into the Luzon transmission backbone. Alternergy Tanay Wind Corporation will develop a $50 million transmission facility, including two double-circuit 500 kV lines and a switchyard with a 150 MVA transformer.
