German gas company VNG, in partnership with HyCC has announced plans for a 500MW green hydrogen project near the Piesteritz Chemical Park. The project “GreenRoot”, aims to produce green hydrogen using renewable electricity and supply it to local industries supporting Germany's decarbonization efforts.
