Enlight Renewable Energy secured $310 million to hybridise its 329 MW Gecama Wind Project in Spain by adding Solar and 220 MWh of Battery Storage, boosting capacity to 554 MW. Set for commercial operation in late 2026, the Gecama Hybrid Project will be Spain’s largest renewable complex. It addresses energy security after the April 2025 blackouts and aligns with national climate goals.
