Enercon has partnered with Canadian firm Biome Renewables to integrate Biome’s FeatherEdge serration technology on Enercon wind turbines. Initial tests with Schierloh Engineering in Germany indicate potential acoustic benefits for noise-sensitive locations. The next phase will focus on Enercon’s E-160 EP5 turbines, building on positive independent results from early 2025.
