Rajasthan’s RVUNL awarded its first 1000 MW/2000 MWh standalone BESS tender at a record-low Rs 1.775 lakh/MW/month, 15% lower than the previous tender. Eleven bidders won projects at tariffs between Rs 1.775–1.785 lakh/MW/month. The project offers reduced VGF support of Rs 18 lakh/MWh, Rs 9 lakh less than earlier.
