Egypt has approved a 1-GW solar power project with 600-MWh battery storage in Minya Governorate. Developed by Nefer Minya Renewable Energy, a joint venture between Infinity Power Holding and HAU Energy, the project requires around $750 million investment. Developers are seeking $170 million from the EBRD, with a decision expected by September 9.
