India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has declared delays caused by the Supreme Court Great Indian Bustard case as force majeure, granting relief to renewable developers in Rajasthan and Gujarat. Issued on January 12, 2026, the order allows extensions for projects stalled between March 2024 and December 2025.
