The Delhi Cabinet has approved the procurement of 2,800 air-conditioned low-floor electric buses under the PM E-DRIVE scheme to strengthen the city’s public transport system and promote clean mobility. The fleet will include 1,400 nine-metre and 1,400 twelve-metre buses, improving last-mile connectivity and services on high-density routes.
