OMV has secured a €450 million loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) to develop one of Europe’s largest green hydrogen plants in Lower Austria. The 140 MW facility, with a €600 million investment, will produce up to 23,000 tonnes of green hydrogen annually for OMV’s Schwechat refinery.
