Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) plans to deploy 400 additional electric buses across Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela, Sambalpur, and Berhampur, strengthening Odisha’s green mobility network. The state will also introduce three hydrogen fuel cell buses with MNRE support. Since 2018, CRUT has expanded its fleet to 760 buses and developed modern depots and EV infrastructure.
