Coal India Limited (CIL) has invited EPC bids for an 187.5 MW/750 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project at Choutuppal, Telangana. The turnkey project follows the consultancy award to Ahasolar Technologies for engineering support. The EPC contractor will handle design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and operation readiness of the storage facility.
